When you commission me, you can expect a beautiful custom fantasy map, in a traditional black and white style. I hand-draw every one of my pieces, so every map is totally unique and tailored to your needs.

Custom Fantasy Map Commission for an Indie Author. It shows Sorrele from The Vorelian Saga.

Dimensions - 29.7 cm x 42 cm | 11.7 in x 16.5 in

  • This size is ideal for small publications, or where a large or highly detailed map is not necessary.

  • Custom compasses, borders, keys and banners are not applicable to this size drawing. 

  • The number of place names will also be limited to prevent overcrowding and improve legibility. 

  • Estimated time scale - 40+ hrs*

A3 Custom Map

Custom Fantasy Map Commission for an indie author. It shows The Vore World, a world map for The Vorelian Saga.

Dimensions - 42 cm x 59.4 cm | 16.5 in x 23.4 in

  • This size is ideal for medium publications or displays, or where a more detailed map is necessary.

  • Custom compasses, borders, keys and banners are available in this size drawing. However, depending on the style and body of the map, it may be difficult to include all of these elements. 

  • Possible to have a mixture of place name sizes, but no banners other than the title banner.

  • Estimated time scale - 90+ hrs*

A2 Custom Map

Dimensions - 59.4 cm x 84.1 cm | 23.4 in x 33.1 in

  • This size is ideal for large publications or displays, or where a highly detailed map is necessary. 

  • Custom compasses, borders, keys and banners are available in this size drawing. Size and detail level will depend on the body of the map. Small illustrations may also be included.

  • Possible to have a mixture of place name sizes, including banners for places of importance, alongside the title banner.

  • Estimated time scale - 150+ hrs*

*Time estimates include: Initial consultation, research, drafting, drawing, revisions and digitization. Shipping times are not included, as this varies depending on your country.

High-Quality Printed Copy

Upon completion, you will receive a high-quality print* of your map in the size that you ordered. These are giclee prints, printed on 240 gms art paper - available in gloss, semi-gloss or matte finishes.

Additional prints can be ordered for an added cost.

Prints have my embossing stamp and handwritten signature on them for authenticity.

High-Resolution Digital Copy

All commissions come with a high-resolution copy of the map in JPG, PNG & PDF files.

These can be used to be print inside books, promotional material and personal-use.**

*I retain the original copies of all my maps. I do not re-sell the originals.

**I retain the rights to my artwork, therefore commission pieces are not valid for merchandising. This would require further discussions/contracts.
